Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive 40 DJI Air 2S drones for €38,000
A batch of quadcopters DJI Air 2S will soon go to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
What we know
Serhiy Prytula Charitable Foundation purchased 40 sets of quadcopters DJI Air 2S Fly More Combo. The official price is $1299 per unit, but the organization spent €38,000 ($38,700) on the drones, which mean they paid less than $1,000 per one.
DJI Air 2S was introduced in April 2021. The drone is equipped with a 3500 mA*h battery, which provides a flight time of 31 minutes. The maximum speed of the drone is 19 m/s in Sportmode, and the altitude is 5 km.
The quadcopter is equipped with a 20 MP camera with 10-bit color depth based on 1" optical sensor. The camera has an adjustable iris, tri-axis suspension and support for 5.4K at 30 FPS, 4K at 60 FPS and Full HD at 120 FPS.
The kit Fly More Combo in addition to the quadcopter DJI Air 2S contains extra batteries ND-filters, propellers, charging hub and bag. The controller is basic. There is also a set with DJI Smart Controller, which is equipped with a display. It costs $500 more.
