The Ukrainian Furia drone cost about ₴1,000,000 and it helped destroy the Russian Uragan jet system
The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a Russian Uragan MLRS thanks to a Furia drone.
What we know
Soldiers of the 28th separate mechanized brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign used an unmanned aerial vehicle to search for enemy equipment. The Furia drone tracked down a Russian Uragan multiple rocket launcher, helped guide the fire, and filmed the destruction of the MLRS on video.
"Furia" is a Ukrainian unmanned aerial system, which includes three drones. It was adopted by the National Guard of Ukraine in 2015. The Armed Forces began using the UAV in 2020.
The cost of the aircraft complex is approximately ₴4-4.5 million. This amount includes pilot training and additional equipment, so one Furia drone costs approximately ₴1 million.
