The Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down a Russian ZALA 421-16E drone in the Mykholaiv region.
What we know
This is the most popular unmanned aerial vehicle of the ZALA brand. It is designed for reconnaissance, with a range of about 100 km. The maximum flight time is 4 hours. The drone is launched into the air using a pneumatic catapult.
Russia says the ZALA 421-16E is invulnerable to radar stations. Other features of the drone include increased payload capacity, RTK support and the ability to install advanced interchangeable payloads. An air shock absorber is provided to protect the payload during landing.
