Russians started training in the use of Iranian combat drones

The United States believes that Russian officials have begun training on Iranian drones. This is reported by CNN.

What we know

The training is still taking place in Iran, although there was information that Tehran has already sent drones to Russia along with instructors.

An unnamed U.S. official told CNN that Russian officials have been conducting training in Iran over the past few weeks as part of an agreement to transfer combat drones to Russia. Intelligence on the exercise was recently declassified.

There is still no information on exactly which drones the Russian army wants and in what quantity. The drones are rumored to be Shahed-129 and Shahed-191, each of which can carry high-precision guided missiles. However, both UAVs have not yet been used in actual warfare.
