The company Google on MWC 2018 in vain did not lose time and announced many interesting innovations that will affect the voice assistant.

What is known

The company is going to add support for 30 new languages for Google Assistant before the end of 2018. Seven of them are already represented: Hindi, Thai, Indonesian, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and Dutch. Soon the Russian language will appear.

Now the helper can better integrate with third-party applications. Use Google Assistant to set an alarm or notes - it's convenient, but with more difficult tasks he coped, frankly, "not very". The company knew about this and introduced the "Android Link". Thanks to this function, developers can create tasks between voice assistant and applications.

Another problem that the developers faced was getting information to perform a specific task. For example, to use the voice to order Uber, the assistant must know a lot of data: the starting point, the end point, etc. And instead of forcing developers to create their own code, the company introduced the "askForPlace" function. With it, you can get a location. Google also created a special "memory" in the assistant to store this information.

In the dry residue

I am glad that the Corporation of Kindness in every way continues to develop and update its voice assistant.
