Production of Bayraktar strike drones is booked for three years
Baykar Technologies has a three-year order book for the production of Bayraktar drones.
What we know
The Turkish manufacturer has the capacity to produce two dozen drones per month. The drones in question are the Bayraktar TB2 strike drones, which are popular in Ukraine, and the new Bayraktar Akinci drones.
According to Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov, now the company Baykar Technologies is focused on the production of unmanned aerial vehicles for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In total, the Turkish company has contracts with 22 countries for the supply of Bayraktar TB2.
Baykar Technologies is also working on an unmanned fighter jet project called the Bayraktar Kizilelma. The company wants to increase its production capacity through a plant to be built in Ukraine, where it will produce drones including Kizilelma, which we wrote recently.
