Bayraktar Kizilelma fighter drone made a joint flight with Bayraktar Akinci drone
Turkish company Baykar recently conducted its 8th flight test of the Bayraktar Kizilelma fighter drone. It didn't take long for the manufacturer to complete two more tests.
Here's What We Know
The Bayraktar Kizilelma's first full-fledged presentation was held at the beginning of the second half of 2022. In December, the unmanned fighter took to the air for the first time. In the 8th test, which took place a few days ago, the aircraft reached a speed of 630 km/h.
Earlier this week, Bayraktar Kizilelma took to the air again, but this time with the Bayraktar Akinci drone. The company published footage of the joint flight of the two strike drones on its official Twitter page.
The Kizilelma is equipped with Ukrainian AI-25TLT / AI-322F or Turkish TEI TF-6000 engines, depending on the modification. The unmanned fighter with the TF-6000 and AI-322F will be able to reach supersonic speeds, while the version with the AI-25TLT will be subsonic. Serial production of Bayraktar Kizilelma will start in 2024.
