Russian military aviation is afraid of Ukrainian Buk SAMs, so they have not flown over the territory controlled by the AFU for almost three months
Russian military aviation has not crossed the airspace over the territory controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine for almost three months.
What is known
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated this in a message the other day. Beware of the air defense system, Russian aviation operates from the Russian Federation, Belarus or the temporarily occupied territories.
We often publish videos of Buk surface-to-air missile launchers shooting down enemy air targets. However, now Ukraine's air defense is waiting for foreign systems IRIS-T and NASAMS . Note that the latter provides protection for the White House in the United States.
Recall that back in early summer German Chancellor Olaf Scholz promised to transfer modern air defense systems to Ukraine IRIS-T. The U.S. will send (if not yet sent) two systems NASAMS made in Norway.
