Target ships and reflectors did not help - HIMARS hit bridges in Kherson region

To protect the bridges, the Russians sent target ships and pyramidal reflectors to Kherson and the region, but it did not help.

What we know

Reflectors and ships conceal the Antonov Bridge over the Dnieper River from radar and missile guidance equipment. This could have been an effective solution against the Neptune and Harpoon, but, as expected, it did not keep HIMARS from striking.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces used a U.S. multiple rocket launcher to once again stroke the Antonov Highway Bridge. As a result, Russian equipment, repaired after the previous hits, was destroyed again.

There was also a strike on the Dariev bridge over the Ingulets river in the Kherson region. In addition, the residents of Skadovsk, Chernobaevka, Chaplynka, Alyoshki and Nova Kakhovka villages reported the explosions.

It should be noted that the Antonov bridge is still intact, but the Armed Forces have blocked the logistics and transport routes of the Russian army. By the way, Russia said that the Ukrainian military has nothing to shoot at the bridges.
