Ukrainian air defense destroyed four Kalibr cruise missiles worth $26 million in a few hours
Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed four Kalibr cruise missiles in a few hours.
What we know
We wrote that the air defense system of the Air Command South shot down the "Kalibr" in the sky over the Odessa region at about 04:00 (EDT) or 01:00 (PDT). A few hours later, the press service of the Air Forces Command announced the elimination of three more missiles.
All of them were launched from the waters of the Black Sea, where four carrier ships are now located. The full salvo is 24 missiles. That is why we do not recommend neglecting the air-raid alarms. Three Kalibras managed to shoot down in the central part of Ukraine by anti-aircraft missile units.
Thus, in a few hours, Russia lost four Kalibrs worth $26 million. The price of one missile is $6,5 million.
