Time of innovation: EA will start testing cross-platform in FIFA 2022 on PS5, Xbox Series X | S and Google Stadia

EA Sports has announced that it will begin cross-platform testing in FIFA 2022 on the PS5, Xbox Series X | S and Google Stadia. EA did not name any exact dates other than the "near future", but the publisher confirmed that testing will take place in the mode of online seasons and online friendly matches.

• "While we want to give our players the opportunity to play with as many friends as possible on different platforms, we have limited testing to these two modes to reduce the chance of new problems in the game," said Goran Popovich of EA Vancouver. "We are confident that the game data and feedback we receive from these two modes will help us understand how cross-platform can be implemented in future games."

Now PlayStation Plus subscription in May: FIFA 2022 football simulator, Curse of the Dead Gods and the Tribes of Midgard cooperative and a game is available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Google Stadia and PC.
