Smart #1 electric car with a range of up to 440 km will be available for pre-order in Europe this year

Automobile concern Daimler AG presented the Smart #1 electric car a month ago, and now it has told when it will be possible to order a novelty.

What is known

So, pre-orders for the car will open in December of this year, and car sales are scheduled for 2023. The novelty will be available in three versions: Launch Edition, Premium and Pro+. The basic version, according to the manufacturer, will be sold in limited quantities: 100 cars will appear in the UK and 1000 in Europe.

Unfortunately, there are no car prices yet, but given that this is a Smart, the new product will obviously not be cheap. As for the “stuffing”, Smart #1 will be able to boast a battery with a power reserve of up to 440 km.

An electric motor with 264 hp will be responsible for the operation of the car. Also, the car will receive 19-inch Prism alloy wheels, LED matrix headlights, an audio system. Beat Audio with 13 speakers, wireless smartphone charging and adaptive cruise control.
