From June 14, Origin will stop selling games from third-party companies
Most likely, most people have a store Origin associated with games from Electronic Art, but, nevertheless, there it was possible to buy entertainments and from third-party developers. Although, in two weeks it will all stop: EA announced that it is ending the sale of other people's games.
Key points:
- From the store Origin remove games and DLC from third-party partners
- If the content has already been purchased, it will remain available in your library Origin
- In the subscription EA Play in Origin will still offer games from third-party partners
EA also takes away the ability to download additional materials such as soundtracks or artbooks. Content of this kind from games EA can now be downloaded on a special page. With third-party games it's harder: users need to quickly download materials from Origin in the next two weeks, or as a result will have to turn to technical support EA with a request to give the opportunity to do so - the company promises to be able to provide the necessary content.
