Details of the new US aid package for Ukraine are known: four HIMARS, four helicopters, 1000 Javelins and tactical vehicles
After publications on the White House website information about a new package of military assistance for Ukraine, it became known what exactly the United States plans to send to our country and in what quantities.
The site mentions the transfer of advanced weapons, including multiple rocket launchers HIMARS . As it turned out, four MLRS and ammunition for them will go to Ukraine. The training of the Ukrainian military will take about three weeks, according to Pentagon estimates.
Also, the United States, as part of the new package, will transfer four Mi-17 helicopters, which are used for landing and combat missions. The Mi-17 can reach speeds of up to 250 km/h. The maximum takeoff weight reaches 13 tons, and the payload is 4 tons. If necessary, the helicopter can be equipped with machine guns and grenade launchers.
In addition, according to UNIAN, along with the Mi-17 and HIMARS Ukraine will receive 15 tactical vehicles and 1,000 missiles Javelins.
