They arrived, fired back and left: this is how the FH70 self-propelled howitzers work at the front

The ground forces of Ukraine have published a video demonstrating the operation of the FH70 howitzer. The video shows all stages of howitzer operation: system deployment, preparation, firing and folding. 

“Our fighters are quickly mastering the latest weapons provided by partner countries,” comment the video of the OK “Zakhid”.

Recall that the FH70 was handed over to us by Italy. This is 1British-German 55mm howitzer. It has a range of 20-30 km and a semi-automatic shell loader, thanks to which the howitzer is capable of firing 6 rounds per minute. The FH70 has a 1700 cc Volkswagen engine. cm, which feeds the hydraulics of the gun when it is transferred to a combat state. In addition, the engine allows the FH70 to move independently without a tractor for a range of up to 20 km at low speed.
