Oleksiy Reznikov: Ukraine has already received M109 self-propelled guns and Harpoon anti-ship missiles

Western partners continue to send NATO-standard weapons to Ukraine.

According to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov, following howitzers M777, FH70 and ACS CAESAR, the Armed Forces of Ukraine received a couple more useful guns.

For example, one of the modifications of M109. it American self-propelled howitzer, which is in service with the artillery of the US Army and other countries of the world. The M109 was first used in real combat during the Vietnam War, then it was used in almost all military conflicts in which the United States took part. It has a 155 mm caliber and a range of up to 30 km (depending on the type of projectile).

Except M109, Ukraine also received land-based Harpoon anti-ship missiles. These weapons were handed over to us by Denmark, Great Britain and the Netherlands. The missiles will protect Ukraine in the Black Sea. Harpoon has an active radar homing system and an ultra-low flight path. By the way, in addition to coastal launchers, Harpoon missiles can also be launched from aircraft, ships and submarines.
