The developers of the NFT game Illuvium sold almost 20,000 virtual land plots for $72,000,000
One piece of news that combines NFTs with huge sums of money, it became more. This time gamers and developers tried NFTs-games Illuvium.
The company from 2 to 5 June held dutch auctions, during which it planned to sell 20,000 virtual land plots. As a result, the project managed to implement 19,969 sites for a total of 4,018 ETH or over $72,000,000 at the end of the auction.

Land plots give gamers the opportunity to catch monsters, which can then be used in battles, and bring in-game resources. In addition, players are credited with 5% of the income from owning land.
Now Illuvium undergoing beta testing. A full launch of the project is scheduled for the second half of this year. In total, 100,000 land plots will be available in the game, divided into four categories (Tier) depending on the rarity and possibilities.
