Reznikov: German 155mm self-propelled guns Panzerhaubitze 2000 are already in Ukraine
The Ukrainian arsenal of 155 mm artillery mounts has been replenished with German Panzerhaubitze 2000.
What is known
This was told by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov. Reznikov does not say how many installations we received, but according to the German government, this is 7 pieces. Naturally, Germany not only gave us self-propelled guns Panzerhaubitze 2000, and also specially trained the Ukrainian military how to use them.
By the way, the Panzerhaubitze 2000 is already the 6th type of 155-mm artillery that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have received. Also we have M777, FH70, M109, AHS Krab and Caesar.
For those who are not in the know
The Panzerhaubitze 2000 is a 155mm self-propelled gun-howitzer developed by the German concern Krauss-Maffei Wegmann. She was adopted by the Bundeswehr in the fall of 1998. It uses a 52 caliber (8 m) barrel, an automatic loading system with 60 rounds of ammunition, 228 modular propellant charges and a modern ground navigation system. The firing range of the Panzerhaubitze 2000 is 30-50 km (depending on the projectile).
