Video: Early footage from DOOM (2016) and the canceled DOOM 4

In 2016, the Noclip team, which makes documentaries about games, visited id Software's office and learned about the Doom reboot. Among other things, journalists saw footage from the canceled DOOM 4 and an early version of DOOM (2016). To preserve gaming history, Noclip has published valuable videos without editing.

Here's what the video shows:

• Gameplay of the canceled DOOM 4, which was developed before DOOM 2016. The video consists of two clips - in one, the main character wields a double barrel, and in the other, he fights hand-to-hand
• DOOM (2016):
• Test of combat animations
• Entry level storyboard
• Footage from several technodems: some showing the level of brutality, others showing rocket launcher shooting, and still others showing improvements in graphics
