Five galaxies, "dust mountains" and a gas cloud near a dying star - NASA has published more amazing photos from the James Webb telescope

NASA has published several more images taken by the James Webb Space Telescope .

What's known

According to the space agency, the telescope was able to take four more photos of "the farthest reaches of space. The image below captures the "dust mountains" of the Kiel Nebula (NGC 3324).

The following photos show the South Ring Nebula (NGC 3132), which is 2,500 light years from Earth. The pictures show a gas cloud around a dying star. The photos were taken with different telescope instruments.

The last photo shows us a group of five Quintet Stefan galaxies, which are in the constellation Pegasus. The whole photo was compiled from nearly 1,000 separate fragments.

Separately, we note the exoplanet WASP-96 b. It is 1000 light years away from Earth. James Webb did not take a photo, but recorded traces of water and the existence of clouds in its atmosphere WASP-96 b. This is the most detailed information about the exoplanet so far.
