So, on that day, the iPhone 5c smartphone and the 3rd generation iPad mini tablet with Wi-Fi and TD-LTE will be deemed obsolete. This means that the manufacturer is discontinuing all repairs and service on these devices.

The iPhone 5c was introduced along with the iPhone 5s in September 2013. It was Apple's first smartphone with more bright colors to choose from. It was also the first time Apple then released a junior iPhone model designed for customers on a tight budget.

Apple marked the iPhone 5c as a vintage product in October 2020. This meant that the company and its service providers could only provide certain repairs to the product if parts were available. Support and service for outdated gadgets would cease completely.
