The AFU uses the MAMBA counterbattery system, which detects and classifies artillery, rockets and mortars, as well as targeting M777 howitzers, HIMARS and M270 MLRS
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have begun to use the MAMBA counter-battery system.
Here's What We Know
Video of MAMBA (Mobile Artillery Monitoring Battlefield Radar) in the hands of the 15th Detached Brigade was published by the press service of the Joint Forces Task Force. The system is capable of detecting and classifying artillery, missiles and mortars. Moreover, it can be used to guide 155-mm M777 howitzers, as well as HIMARS and M270 multiple rocket launchers. The system is operated by up to 8 people. It is capable of detecting targets at ranges up to 30 km.
Studied in UK and Latvia. Powerful engine. The radar pulled an FMTV M1083 truck with ammunition out of the swamp along with the M777. Work together with M777, HYMARS/M270

It is not known how many of these systems are in service with the AFU. By the way, the Mobile Artillery Monitoring Battlefield Radar was handed over to Ukraine by the UK. The AFU has learned to use them in Britain and Latvia.
