Armasuisse sold its only business jet Pilatus PC-24 due to low demand
The Swiss Federal Office of Defense Procurement (Armasuisse) has decided to sell its only business jet Pilatus PC-24.
Here's What We Know
As it turned out, the Pilatus Aircraft company's aircraft was not popular for three years of service in the Swiss Air Force. Back in February 2022, the country's Federal Council announced its decision to sell the Pilatus PC-24 due to low demand.
The buyer of the business jet was Joy Vida International AG. The amount of the deal is not specified, but Armasuisse states that the company offered more than the agency paid for the plane. The cost of the Pilatus PC-24 is about $10 million.
Joy Vida International AG will receive the plane by November of this year. By this time the Pilatus PC-24 will meet civilian standards.
