The Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down 23 of the 25 Shahed-136 kamikaze drones that were attacking Kiev
On the morning of October 17, nearly three dozen Shahed-136 kamikaze drones were launched toward Kiev. The Armed Forces were able to shoot down the vast majority of the flying "mopeds.

Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that 28 Iranian-made kamikaze drones flew towards Kiev in the morning. The defense forces destroyed 23 Shahed-136.
28 drones flew in the direction of Kiev in the morning. Thanks to our SDF, FPS, most of the flying terrorists were shot down. There were a total of five explosions in Kiev. One of them was in a residential building in the Shevchenko district. Klitschko said that there were five explosions in the capital of Ukraine. One kamikaze drone hit an apartment building in the Shevchenko district of the city. Rescuers continue to work at the scene of the impact.
