The first TRML-4D radar of the German company Hensoldt for the IRIS-T SLM surface-to-air missile system has arrived in Ukraine.

Here's What We Know

This was announced by the manufacturer Hensoldt. In total, the company should transfer four radar stations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This will happen "in record time," as stated by Thomas Müller, CEO of Hensoldt.

The TRML-4D multifunction radar station was developed four years ago. It is designed to detect, identify and track airborne targets including cruise missiles.

The TRML-4D is equipped with an active phased antenna array. The radar station can simultaneously detect and track up to 1500 air objects at an altitude of up to 30 kilometers. The maximum range is 250 km (150 km for aircraft and 60 km for supersonic missiles) and the minimum range is 10 meters.
