The hype surrounding Elon Musk's purchase of the social network Twitter is gaining momentum again, but for a different reason.
According to The Washington Post, if the deal is completed, the billionaire and founder of Tesla and SpaceX plans to reduce the number of employees from 7,500 to just over 2,000.
However, the U.S. publication notes that even if Musk would not become Twitter owner, staff cuts are inevitable, because this step has long been planned to optimize costs.
To recall, Twitter and Musk could close the deal as soon as next week, and it will cost $44 billion.
