Ukrainian plane AN-124-100-150 delivered the 50-ton Airbus satellite to the NASA launching pad, from where it will be launched by SpaceX

Ukrainian company ANTONOV Airlines reported that its Ruslan aircraft successfully delivered a satellite to the launch pad of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

Here's What We Know

The AN-124-100-150 was used to transport a spacecraft weighing about 50 tons. It was placed in a CTH04 container with overall dimensions of 14.69 x 5.45 x 4.22 meters, designed by Airbus.

The plane transported the satellite from France to the United States. The civilian spacecraft, developed by Airbus, will be launched by the U.S. company SpaceX from NASA's Titusville launch pad.
