Ammunition for HIMARS and NASAMS, AGM-88 HARM missiles, 150 HMMWV armored vehicles and machine guns to destroy UAVs - U.S. announced a new $400 million military aid package for Ukraine
The United States announced a new military aid package for Ukraine. No sooner had we finished writing the news that Joe Biden instructed to provide Ukraine with more weapons worth $400 million, than the U.S. Department of Defense announced the contents of the package.
Here's What We Know
Ukraine's Armed Forces will receive even more ammunition for the M142 HIMARS high-mobility artillery missile systems and the new NASAMS air defense systems. The U.S. will also send Ukraine 150 machine guns for destroying unmanned aerial vehicles.
The package includes 200 high-precision shells for 155 mm howitzers. It is likely that again we are talking about the M982 Excalibur. Ukraine will also receive 10,000 120 mm mortars, AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missiles, 150 HMMWVs, over a hundred light tactical vehicles, spare parts for howitzers and equipment, 20 million cartridges for small arms and over two hundred generators.
