One shared DC universe: James Gunn tells fans that games, movies, TV series and cartoons will now be connected
While answering fans' questions on Twitter, James Gunn, who is now responsible for the DC cinematic universe, said that the studio's games, TV series and films will be interconnected.
Here's What We Know
First, Gunn explained that the DC universe will include movies, TV series and animated shows. Then he said that video games will also be in the DC shared universe. Before that, some of the DC projects lived in their own separate dimension, now the new management intends to make one overall picture in Detective Comics.
Are there plans for games to be connected to the DCU as well, Mr. Gunn?

Although fans are not exactly thrilled with this idea. As an example, they cite Insomniac's Batman Arkham and Marvel's Spider-Man series and write that developers should have full creative control and not everything should be connected.
I don't think it's my place to express my opinion but video games have special place in my heart. Shouldn't dc games be their on thing with game studios having full creative control. Look at marvel spider-man or Batman Arkham for example. Not everything need to be connected. pic.twitter.com/VrH6dHMw0z

Now it remains to be seen how quickly DC will begin to unite all their projects into one universe and what quality they will be.
Flashback
There are currently two games in development in the DC universe. The first is Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which is being developed by Rocksteady, and the second is Wonder Woman from Monolith. It's not clear if the games will be in the same DC universe.
