MacBook Pro 16" with M2 Max chip, 96 GB of RAM and 8 TB SSD costs more than $8300
The day before Apple introduced MacBook Pro laptops Apple unveiled MacBook Pro with the latest M2 Pro and M2 Max processors starting at $1999. As it turned out, the 16" model in the top modification costs over $8300. But this is in the UK. In the U.S. the price is almost $2000 lower.
Here's What We Know
Now let's talk about everything in order. The top version of the MacBook Pro 16" is equipped with 96 GB of RAM, an 8 TB SSD drive and the Apple M2 Max processor. The chip itself in this case is also represented by the top configuration, which involves a 12-core CPU, a 38-core GPU and a 16-core neural block.
The laptop's top-of-the-line configuration costs $6499 in the U.S. That's $3,000 more expensive than the standard version with the M2 Max, which gets 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD drive.
In Europe, on the other hand, prices are much higher. Most of all for the maximum configuration of the MacBook Pro 16" will have to pay residents of the UK. There the novelty is priced at £6,749 ($8350).
In the eurozone countries, a notebook with 96 GB of RAM, an 8 TB SSD and a M2 Max chip in the top configuration is a little cheaper. For example, in Germany, such a configuration will cost €7599 ($8225).
