No fear of moisture or drops: Huawei announces Qingyun G540 rugged laptop

Huawei already has many different models of laptops, but they are usually simple devices for work or study with a focus on performance. But soon the Chinese manufacturer will add the Huawei Qingyun G540 rugged laptop to its range.

The novelty is not afraid of bumps and drops and is equipped with a keyboard with moisture protection. There is also a "curtain" for the camera, which is regulated by a physical button next to the front camera.

Another feature of the Huawei Qingyun G540 will be a screen cover with a 180-degree rotation angle. The display itself is a 14-inch IPS display with a maximum brightness of 300 nits, 1920×1080 pixel resolution and a refresh rate of 60Hz.

Also among the model's specs are Core i7-1260P, Core i5-1240P or 12th generation Core i5-1235U processors (depending on configuration), a 42Wh or 56Wh battery (also a choice) and one Space Grey colouring.

It's not a full-blown presentation yet, but an announcement, so all the details aren't available yet. Huawei will officially unveil the Qingyun G540 at a presentation on March 23 along with other products.
