Ukrspecsystems unveils MiniShark: a compact reconnaissance UAV that can fly up to 35km at 120km/h

Ukrainian company Ukrspecsystems unveiled its new drone, the MiniShark, at Brave1.

Here's What We Know

As you can tell from the name, the novelty is a simplified version of the Shark UAV. The drone has a wingspan of 2.6 meters, a length of 125 cm and a maximum take-off weight of 5 kg. The drone has a folding design. It fits in two backpacks. The MiniShark can be launched hands-free.

The manufacturer positions the novelty as a compact reconnaissance drone that can point artillery. The UAV is capable of flying up to a range of 35 km and at an altitude of up to 1,000 meters at a speed of up to 120 km/h. The stated flight time is 2 hours. The operating temperature range is from -15°C to 45°C.

Ukrspecsystems has equipped the MiniShark with an optronic system supporting 10x optical zoom.

When We Can Expect It

The drone is already undergoing tests. When it will be available for purchase is not known yet.
