Philips launches AI headphones on Kickstarter to help you fall asleep and track your sleep

Philips has partnered with Kokoon to launch the unusual Philips x Kokoon Sleep Headphones on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform. As the name suggests, they are not designed to listen to music while walking or working out, but to improve sleep.

Details

These are ergonomic headphones with artificial intelligence that will help you fall asleep. To do so, the device is equipped with noise-cancelling technology. But it doesn't just muffle ambient sounds, it also includes music, a melody, an audiobook or sounds - things that help you relax and fall asleep. White noise can then be played.

Biometric sensors detect when the user has fallen asleep, turn down the volume, include sounds as background or turn the playback off altogether.
And in the mobile app you will find a virtual sleep coach and a recommended sleep schedule based on your biometric data.

The manufacturer assures that the headphones are as comfortable as possible and don't interfere at night, even if you sleep on your side. A single charge lasts up to 11 hours of battery life.

Here's What It Costs

Philips x Kokoon Sleep Headphones cost $175 on Kickstarter, but will rise to $285 after the campaign. Sales are scheduled to start in October this year. The headphones have already raised over $400,000 on the crowdfunding platform.
