AFU uses Turkish Otokar Cobra II armoured vehicles at the front

It has been repeatedly reported on the internet that Ukraine has received Turkish Otokar Cobra II armoured vehicles. Now they have been spotted at the front.

Photos of the vehicles in the hands of the AFU published Telegram-channel @horevica. The vehicles were spotted in Volchansk, Kharkiv region. At least two vehicles can be seen in the pictures. It is not known how many of these vehicles are in service with the AFU.

Flashback

Cobra II is Turkish 4x4 armored fighting vehicle. It is produced by the Otokar company. The design of the vehicle began in 1994. In 1995 the American company AM General got involved to the project. The truck was created with components from an armored SUV HMMWV.
