Australia buys Carl Gustaf M4 hand grenade launchers from Sweden.

The information was shared by arms manufacturer Saab. The contract in question is worth $38,800,000. Deliveries are planned for 2024-2025.

The Carl Gustaf M4 will support programmable ammunition and boasts a FCD 558 fire control system. The grenade launcher is fitted with adjustable shoulder rest and adjustable barrel grip support. Unlike other variants, the M4 can be carried loaded. The grenade launcher is capable of engaging targets up to 1 km away.
