New DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will be released on 12 July
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will have two more DLC packs before the game completes its offer with the release of the Booster Course Pass. Recently, Nintendo confirmed the release date of the penultimate wave of DLC - 12 July:
Pump up those tyres, Wave 5 is almost here! Eight additional courses and three returning characters are coming to the #MarioKart 8 Deluxe - Booster Course Pass on 12/07.

Here's What We Know
Wave 5 will feature eight new courses, of which seven are reworked versions of courses from previous instalments, and one will be completely new. The new tracks will include Koopa Cape and Moonview Highway from Mario Kart Wii, Vancouver Velocity, Athens Dash and Los Angeles Laps from Mario Kart Tour, Sunset Wilds from Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Daisy Cruiser and Squeaky Clean Spring from Mario Kart: Double Dash, as well as a new bathtub track, Squeaky Clean Spring.
Similar to the addition of Birdo in Wave 4, Wave 5 will add three new characters to the game's roster: Kamek, Petey Piranha and Wiggler.
Wave 6 of the Booster Course Pass, scheduled for release by the end of the year, will add the final eight courses, completing the 48 Booster Course Pass add-ons. According to preliminary reports, two additional symbols will also be added.
