NASAMS SAMs, ammunition, Phoenix Ghost and Switchblade UAVs: US announces new $1.3bn aid package for Ukraine

The United States of America continues to help Ukraine fight against Russian invaders, having announced a new military aid package for the AFU.
Here's What We Know
The new aid package is designed for $1.3bn and includes:
- 4 NASAMS SAMs and ammunition;
- 152-mm artillery shells;
- Equipment for demining;
- TOW optically guided missiles;
- Phoenix Ghost and Switchblade unmanned aerial vehicles;
- High-precision aerial munitions;
- UAV detection and electronic warfare equipment.
- 150 petrol tankers;
- 115 tactical vehicles for towing and transporting equipment;
- 50 tactical vehicles for equipment recovery;
- Port and harbour security equipment;
- Tactical secure communications systems;
- Support for training and maintenance activities.
Switchblade UAVs
The weapons will be transferred under the USAI (Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative) programme. It will be purchased from industry.
