On 25 July, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down another modern Russian Ka-52 Alligator helicopter.
Here's What We Know
The information was shared by the 38th Independent Marine Brigade. The helicopter was shot down in Donbas at 01:43 (EDT) or 22:43 (PDT) using a man-portable surface-to-air missile system. The crew of the helicopter was killed.

The Ka-52 Alligator is a Russian attack helicopter and commander's vehicle of the Army Aviation. It is capable of engaging armoured and unarmoured vehicles, manpower and aerial targets on the battlefield. It is a continuation of the Ka-50 "Black Shark" model. One such helicopter costs about $16 000 000.
