Insider: only maps from Modern Warfare II (2009) will appear in the multiplayer modes of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (2023)
There's another reason to be sceptical about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (2023).
We already know that de facto the new part of the series is just an add-on for last year's shooter, although Activision insists that it will be a full-fledged release and asks $70 for it.
Here's What We Know
An insider under the nickname Bob, who specialises in news on Call of Duty games, has revealed that the multiplayer modes of Modern Warfare III (2023) will feature only slightly updated maps from Modern Warfare II (2009).
As of now, every MWIII launch map is a remastered MW2 (2009) map. #MWIII

It remains to be seen how true this is, but if Bob's information is confirmed, gamers will be disappointed with Activision's approach, especially considering the high cost of the game.
Perhaps at the full presentation of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, which will be held on 17 August, the developers will reveal information about online modes and maps available in it.
When We Can Expect It
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is expected to be released on the 10th of November. The list of platforms has not been announced yet.
