Yandex.Taxi and Uber finally united

Two large companies announced the completion of a deal to merge business in Russia and neighboring countries.

At the close of the deal, Uber and Yandex invested $ 225 million and $ 100 million respectively in the new company. As a result, the total budget was $ 400 million, and the newly-created business is estimated at more than $ 3.8 billion. As for the applications Uber Taxi and Yandex.Taxi, they will still be available to users as two separate services. But taxis and drivers will switch to a single technological platform.
