The US will supply Ukraine with ATACMS tactical ballistic missiles on a permanent basis

Ukraine has agreed with the USA on permanent deliveries of ATACMS missiles. This was announced by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.

According to the Minister, Ukraine has managed to agree with the USA on the supply of long-range missiles on a permanent basis. This was the result of negotiations between Volodymyr Zelensky and Joe Biden at the end of last month.

A few days ago, the Armed Forces used ATACMS for the first time. The targets were airfields in Berdyansk and Luhansk. The day before, a video appeared showing the launch of six tactical ballistic missiles at once.

The US transferred to Ukraine a small batch of ATACMS BLK 1 SN. 411240. It includes up to 20 missiles. This version has a cluster warhead with M74 submunitions (950 pieces). The maximum launch range is 165 kilometres.
