Google's artificial intelligence chatbot Bard is not giving users answers about the current crisis in Israel and Palestine related to Hamas terrorist attacks.
Here's What We Know
As researcher Peli Greitzer pointed out, Bard doesn't even answer simple questions like "Where is Israel?". In his opinion, this is better than giving biased answers like ChatGPT, but a bold decision.

OpenAI was previously accused of bias because of the different responses of the company's chatbot about the rights of Israelis and Palestinians.

Google probably decided to avoid this problem by blocking the topic in Bard entirely. However, the chatbot is responding about other conflicts like Russia's war in Ukraine.
It's unknown how long the restrictions on queries about Israel and Palestine in Bard will remain in place.
