Fox, crow and a new adventure: Spirit of the North 2, an adventure game about magical animals, is announced

Back in 2020, an interesting indie game Spirit of the North was released, where players take on the role of a magical fox. Although the project received mixed reviews on Metacritic, the debut trailer for Spirit of the North 2 was shown during Xbox Partner.

Here's What We Know

In the trailer, you can immediately notice that the graphics have become much better. The sequel is created on the Unreal Engine 5.

The sequel will take us to the distant ancient world, from which only ruins remain. The wise companion Raven will also be there to help us find the legendary guardians and free them from the hands of the dark shaman Grimnir.

In the game, we will be able to create our own fox, upgrade it, and visit different locations, such as dense forests, snow-capped peaks, and a dark crypt. The gameplay consists of puzzles, exploration, and battles.

When We Can Expect It

Spirit of the North 2 will be released in 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. The game is being developed by Infuse Studio and published by Merge Games.
