Apple has released the first beta of tvOS 17.2 with a new Apple TV app

Right after the release of the stable version of tvOS 17.1, Apple announced a test build of tvOS 17.2.

According to our colleagues from MacRumors, Apple has added an updated Apple TV application to tvOS 17.2 Beta 1. The app now has a special sidebar that hosts content from different apps and services. For example, Apple TV+ and Disney+. The panel also has sections "Search", "Watch Now", "Sports", "Shop" and "Library".

Incidentally, apart from tvOS 17.2, Apple has also started testing iOS 17.2, macOS Sonoma 14. 2 and watchOS 10.2.
