If you use online services on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, you should prepare for the fact that these features will not be available on the consoles in spring.
Here's What We Know
Nintendo has announced that as early as 8 April, Nintendo 3DS and Wii U will no longer support online gaming, online communication, online co-op, online ratings, and data distribution.
Only Pokémon Bank and Poke Transporter will have online features. But the company said they may also cease to operate at some point in the future.
It will also be possible to re-download purchased software and downloadable content from the Nintendo eShop in the future.
