Google has released the first developer preview of Android 15
Google has released Android 15 Developer Preview 1, the first test version of the operating system aimed at developers.
Here's What's New About It
Android 15 contains innovations that should improve performance and reduce power consumption. For instance, several updates relate to the Android Dynamic Performance Framework, which helps manage how power-hungry apps interact with the phone's power system. There are camera improvements in third-party apps.
Android 15 supports partial screen sharing, so users can share or record only the app window and not the entire screen of the device.
Apart from this, other security and privacy features have been implemented.
A test version of Android 15 Developer Preview 1 is available for Pixel devices, but may contain bugs and run unstably.
The final version of Android 15 will be released in late summer or early autumn 2024.
