A new security update is available for the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G and Galaxy A53

Following the Galaxy A71 5G, Samsung has released a February security update for two other mid-range smartphones: the Galaxy A51 5G and Galaxy A53.

Here's What We Know

The latest software update for the Galaxy A51 5G is available across Europe and is distributed with firmware version A516BXXS8FXA1. The new security update for the Galaxy A53 has firmware version A536EXXXS8DXA8 and is available in Afghanistan, Egypt, Iraq, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Caucasus region, UAE, Tunisia, Turkey and Ukraine.

The February 2024 security update contains fixes for 72 vulnerabilities found in the previous software version for the Galaxy A51 5G and Galaxy A53. You can check for the new update by opening Settings and going to Software Update - Download and Install.
