The developers of Rise of the Ronin talked about the sides of conflict in the game's story and the importance of choice
Sony and Team Ninja continue to introduce gamers with details of the action game Rise of the Ronin.
This time the Japanese developers released a video, in which they told about what sides of the conflict are involved in the events of the game.
Here's What We Know
Since the events of Rise of the Ronin are historically accurate and will unfold in the late 19th century in Japan, which was in a severe crisis and was plunged into the chaos of civil war, gamers will see the confrontation of three sides - Western colonisers who seek to conquer the country of the Rising Sun, followers of the Shogunate and revolutionary forces that want to overthrow the Shogun and establish another power.
As the story progresses, players will encounter all sides of the conflict and, as a free ronin, the hero can work for all three up to a certain point, but eventually a choice will have to be made.
Depending on the side chosen in Rise of the Ronin the plot and ending will change, this will also affect the protagonist's relationships with other characters.
