Not sure on the implications yet as I don't think they can catch one individual, but Sony could reduce its third-party developer pool for new...
The insider said that the impact of this leaked file is currently uncertain and he doesn't think Sony can catch specific individuals, but the Japanese company could reduce its third-party developer pool for new technology as a result.
While Sony has yet to confirm the existence of the PS5 Pro, there are already rumours that the new console will get an improved system memory that will be 28% faster than the standard PS5. In addition, a new "CPU High Frequency Mode" could increase the CPU clock speed by 10%, although this could slightly reduce GPU performance.
The main advantage of the PS5 Pro appears to be its graphics capabilities. Leaks talk of 45% faster rendering speeds compared to the PS5, as well as 2-3 times better ray tracing performance, reaching up to quadruple in certain scenarios. This is backed up by a rumoured 33.5 teraflops of processing power.
Sony is rumoured to be developing its own machine learning architecture with an AI accelerator capable of performing impressive floating point calculations. This, along with the new 'Spectral Super Resolution' (PSSR) technology, aims to deliver smooth gameplay at 4K 120FPS and even 8K 60FPS. However, it's worth noting that hardware limitations may prevent the PS5 Pro from fully achieving these ambitious goals.
