Czech Republic transfers new batch of Mi-24 helicopters to Ukraine

Czech Republic continues to help Ukraine by transferring a new batch of Mi-24 helicopters to the AFU.

Here's What We Know

We are talking about two aircraft with borne numbers 3365 and 3366. The information was shared by the Denikn edition. By the way, this is the third and last batch of the promised helicopters. The first Mi-24 Czech Republic handed over to Ukraine in 2022, and the second batch arrived in 2023.

Flashback

The Mi-24 is a Soviet-made infantry support helicopter. The Mi-24 concept assumes close interaction with armoured and infantry units during a large-scale military conflict. By the way, the Mi-24 is one of the symbols of the war in Afghanistan. Today the helicopter is in service with many countries, including Ukraine.
